#Lyndons5Review || Finally Found Someone

  1. To be honest, I was disappointed that this is their follow-up movie to the very successful Miggy-Laida Trilogy.
  2. The comedy aspect of this movie is very awkward. Far from the last 3 movies of JLC and SG.
  3. Seriously, mainstream films should stop endorsing products in every scene. It’s useless.
  4. Sarah’s very beautiful screen presence is pleasing to the eyes.
  5. The only saving grace of this movie is John Lloyd. No doubt he is a good actor. You will fall in love, cry, get mad and smile with him in every scene. Maybe, I have high expectations with this movie since this is the 4th team-up of the lead stars.

#Lyndons5Review || Kita Kita

  1. This movie is a good mix of comedy, drama and love story with travel docu on the side. You will be amazed on how your emotion will change from laughing to crying.
  2. Alex is one of my favorite and one of the best actresses in the Philippines. She always give justice to her roles and this movie is not an exemption.
  3. Surprisingly, Empoy is good in this movie. He is funny just by being Empoy.
  4. The way the “2 sides of the story” was told , it’s very clever. I didn’t see that coming.
  5. I actually predicted the ending but it didn’t affect the flow of the movie.

5 Love/Life Lessons in this movie.

  1. Be kind. You don’t know what a person is going through on a particular day.
  2. Love without expecting anything in return. Love is one of the best feelings in this world, enjoy it while it’s there.
  3. If you love someone, say it or show it to the person while he/she is still there. It will not betaken against you. Life is not a battlefield, you will not lose anything if you confess your love to someone.
  4. We will not fall in love only once. We can fall in love as many times in this lifetime and it’s not a sin.
  5. In life, it doesn’t matter how many hearts you broke. What really matters is how much love you give.

#Lyndons5Review || Wonder Woman

  1. I Enjoyed Batman vs Superman when Gal Gadot appeared as Wonder Woman. That scene was so intense, and that intensity was continued in this movie.
  2. The beach war scene is something to look forward to. It was DC’s best fight scene so far. The finale fight scene was so-so though.
  3. It’s a mix of comedy, drama, action, suspense with a heart. Not to mention, it’s a period movie.
  4. The only thing that bothers me when it comes to origin movies, there’s a tendency for the movie to be boring. There were few sequences that made me want to get a remote control and fast-forward those scenes.
  5. This is so far the most action-packed and exciting DC Cinematic Universe movie that can somehow match the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Additional Note : Marvel should now start to conceptualize their first female superhero movie. Someone from the X-Men perhaps?

#Lyndons5Review || Beauty and the Beast (2017)

  1. At first, I thought doing a live action of my favorite Disney animated film is not a good idea but this movie didn’t disappoint me at all. It is very magical.
  2. When I heard Emma Watson turned down La La Land, I was like “What was she thinking?”, but her first appearance as Belle, Emma is Belle. Hermione Granger is gone.
  3. Luke Evans is so effective as Gaston. You will hate him and his narcissist ways. The character was highlighted more in this movie than in the animated film.
  4. I must admit that there are scenes that I’ve pictured on my mind that I didn’t see but the execution in the film was entertaining.
  5. There are just some things better left untouched, just like the theme song. The original version is way better than the version of Ari and John Legend but yeah, it’s 2017, so giving it an updated beat is alright, it’s not bad either. The songs will surely bring you back to your childhood days.

#Lyndons5Review || 2 Cool 2 be 4 Gotten

  1. The cinematography was done nicely. Imagine the lahar, grass field and beach as backdrop.
  2. The 3 main characters are all good. Khalil is very subtle, Jameson is an effective D-Bag and Ethan is good for a newbie.
  3. The incorporation of the 90’s era added coolness to the film (certified #90sKid here).
  4. A lot of people can definitely relate to this film. First friend, first crush, first love and first sexual awakening (BEAT THAT!).
  5. This is not your usual coming-of-age movie, it was surprisingly dark. A possible sequel won’t do any harm but also okay if there will be none.

#Lyndons5Review || Logan

  1. The movie is awesome gruesome. Wolverine’s fight scene will force you to cover your eyes but you will remove it in less than a second.
  2. It’s Twilight meets Hunger Games meets X-Men kind of film.
  3. Dafne Keen who played Laura is the perfect choice for the role. She reminded me of Taylor Momsen in Gossip Girl Season 1.
  4. The family arc in the film is very heartwarming. You will feel how Charles loves Logan and how Logan loves Charles and also Logan’s love for laura.
  5. This is the Wolverine movie that we are all waiting for. I can’t imagine it having a different ending.

#Lyndons5Review || I’m Drunk, I Love You

Maja Salvador & Paulo Avelino

  1. The story is very relatable. Not trying hard, just real.
  2. It’s as if Maja Salvador is really Carson. The acting, the body language and the look are so natural.
  3. The songs used (mostly indi) are all great. OPM is alive.
  4. The dialogue of the characters are so real. It’s like hearing your friends talk.
  5. The finale is unexpected but damn good.
